This workshop will give participants the knowledge needed to make the best decision for their trees so that tree pruning does not poorly impact their health or structure over their lifetime. In this 3 hour workshop you will learn about the why's, how and the when's of tree pruning. The different types of pruning will be explored and the appropriate tools to use so that you can properly prune your trees with the right knowledge and skills for the job.
Sitara Gare has worked as a horticulturalist, arborist and urban forester for the past 20 years. She has been certified with the International Society of Arborist since 2009 and comes from a long line of tree lovers. Sitara is particularly passionate about sharing her tree knowledge with others so their trees may live a happy tree life.
