Verge Garden Policies and Why the Matter
This post has a summary of the discussions at the meeting on Sunday 10th December.
Our group encourages members to plant native verge gardens to support street trees as part of the Australian Conservation Council’s #saveourbigbackyard campaign.
We welcomed KSBA and others for lively conversations about the complex nature of verge gardens, and the reactions you can get from neighbours that range from friendly to openly hostile.
